The first thing that must be noted, when talking about the importance of "IGM-Trade" for Kavadarci and the Tikvesh region in general, is that the factory has meant a secure existence for hundreds of families in this region for years.

Namely, the company ended 2023 with an average number of 480 employees, and in addition, new jobs are constantly being opened for qualified personnel from multiple profiles.

In addition, this Kavadarci giant appears as a patron and sponsor of a number of projects and events.

The company has donated to healthcare on several occasions and helped improve the conditions at the health center in Kavadarci.

In 2020, when North Macedonia found itself in the midst of a crisis caused by the coronavirus, "IGM-Trade" once again stepped up to help the country and pushed the boundaries in terms of the meaning of corporate social responsibility.

Namely,The company donated over 833 thousand euros to healthcare and the economy in North Macedonia.

"In order to help deal with the Covid-19 coronavirus in our country, as a socially responsible company and one of the pillars of the Macedonian economy, we have made a decision to provide the following assistance package:

• A monetary donation of 15,375,000 denars (250,000 euros) for the needs of the Ministry of Health, transferred to a special dedicated donor account of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of North Macedonia, intended for all healthcare institutions in the country that are fighting the hardest battle in the face of a global health crisis.

• Advance payment of profit tax in the amount of 27,913,385 denars (453,876 euros), of which 6,585,727 (107,085 euros) for 2020 and 21,327,647 (346,791 euros) for 2021, supporting the state budget and increasing its liquidity.

• Advance payment of property tax in the amount of 7,995,000 denars (130,000 euros) for the Municipality of Kavadarci, supporting the municipal budget and increasing its liquidity.

"With this aid package totaling 51,283,385 denars (833,876 euros), we want to set a personal example for the role of the corporate sector in Macedonian society and encourage all companies in the country to contribute to the fight against the coronavirus," the company announced at the time .

This was also a positive example of how companies can demonstrate social responsibility and participate in improving living conditions in the community to which they belong.

Despite the problems and turbulent period in general for industrial production in the EU and North Macedonia, "IGM-Trade" remains one of the most successful Macedonian companies, which in 2023 was among the leaders in the rankings.

In 2023, the amount of total revenue of "IGM-Trade" amounted to 9,565,452,851 denars , while the amount of profit before tax is 990,053,276 denars.

Namely, the company, compared to the previous year, 2022, recorded a decrease in total revenues of 2.10% , and a decrease in profit before tax of 50.77% .

In terms of the ranking of the largest companies , in 2023 the company jumped 3 places (according to revenue) and came in 20th position, while in the ranking of the most successful (according to profit before tax), "IGM-Trade" fell by 10 positions and came in 12th place compared to the previous year.

But that does not mean that the company is operating at a loss; on the contrary, "IGM-Trade" continues to be one of the most profitable Macedonian companies, contributing to the development of the overall Macedonian economy.
