So, today we present to you a comparison of the top 5 companies in Macedonia, Croatia and Slovenia according to profit before income tax in the last 5 years.

In the graphs below, we show the movements of the profit before tax over the years, and in the table you can also see the amounts of the profits of the companies according to the rank.

As it can be assumed, we conclude that the Macedonian economy and Macedonian companies have a much lower profit than the companies in the other countries, but this is also expected considering that our country is much smaller and the economy is still developing. For example, the profit before tax made by the 5 most successful companies in Macedonia in 2021 is 172% lower than the one made by the 5 most successful companies in Croatia and even 236% of the profit of the companies in Slovenia. This difference is significantly smaller if we compare Croatia and Slovenia with each other, i.e. it is 23.6%.
