Construction companies under the scrutiny of the 200 LARGEST AND SUCCESSFUL
The table below presents the data on the total revenue and profit before income tax of the construction companies, that is, those whose activity is the construction of residential and non-residential buildings, as well as their trends in the growth of these parameters.
The analysis gives us significant insights into the economic situation and business strategies in the industry.
Revenue and revenue growth:
The companies in the table show significant variations in revenue, ranging from MKD 249.8 million earned by Runway Engineering DOO from Strumica, to MKD 2.1 billion denars realized by Zikol DOOEL also from Strumica.
As for revenue growth, there is also a wide variation. The highest revenue growth of 122.31% was recorded at NGA Inshaat Anonym Shirketi, Skopje, which indicates an aggressive growth in the market and probably a significant increase in market share. On the other hand, SIM Engineering DOO, Strumica has the lowest revenue growth of only 5.96%, which indicates a stable but relatively slow growth.
Profit and profit growth:
The profit of the companies in the table ranges from MKD 44.5 million of NGA Inshaat Anonym Shirketi, to a ten times higher amount of MKD 430.4 million achieved by Adora Engineering, which is also the most successful among the companies in its activity.
Profit growth (or decline) varies from -36.90% to 365.63%. Golden Art DOO, Skopje, has the highest profit growth, which indicates an extremely successful strategy for increasing profitability. On the other hand, SIM Engineering DOO, Strumica has a negative profit growth of -36.90%, which indicates significant challenges in maintaining profitability, despite the growth of income.
Employees
As for the number of employees in these companies, Zikol DOOEL took the first place with 416 employees during 2022. With a somewhat smaller number of employees, 389 people, in second place is Rapid Bild from Kumanovo. The last place is taken by K.S.A International with only 2 employees.
Overall, the table shows us that companies in this industry have different strategies for growth and profitability. Some focus on aggressive growth and expansion, while others face challenges in maintaining profitability, despite stable or growing revenue.
