SIVEC® is the registered trademark of the fine-grained white dolomitic marble extracted from the quarries of the Company, near the town of Prilep.
Nature has given us many hidden treasures. Our ancestors managed to discover one of them and in the last sixty-five years, Mermeren Kobinat has carefully used it and turned it into timeless works of art - each with a unique beauty and noble appearance.
The company was founded in 1946 and since then has been engaged in the exploitation and processing of white marble. Stone Works Holdings, a Dutch company owned by PAVLIDIS MARBLE-GRANITE from Drama, Greece, owns 89.25% of the company.
The company is fully integrated. The five major quarries operate on a long-term concession basis that guarantees a stable supply of raw materials. Large and modern production facilities ensure successful completion of large and complex projects. Both the carefully selected commercial network and the proximity to the port of Thessaloniki, Greece (approximately 200 km), which is used as the main logistics center, enable the distribution of SIVEC® to all continents.
