THE MOST FAMOUS WINERIES IN MACEDONIA

Also known as the homeland of wine, Macedonia is home to several wineries that continue the centuries-old tradition of wine production.

The oldest wine cellar that has existed since 1885 is the Tikvesh Wine Cellar, which has been creating wines for all its fans for more than a century, with grapes from the Tikvesh region. Ideal because of its position, the Tikvesh region produces the highest quality wines. The most famous wine brand of Tikvesh is the red wine T'ga za jug, which is obtained from the most powerful black wine variety vranec.

Scovin Winery begins its story in 1979, and today it tells it across 5 continents and 18 countries. Scovin's wines come from the Skopje vineyard, and the most famous is the Markov Manastir wine, which received the gold medal of "Mundus Wines" and is produced from the Vranec wine variety.

Bovin Winery is the first family winery in Macedonia, founded in 1998. Bovin brings the taste of the wines from the Tikva region to 30 countries on 5 continents. The production capacity reaches 1.5 million bottles of wine per year.

More than 25 different wines with a characteristic taste are part of the production lines of the Stobi winery. Located in Gradsko, near the ancient town of Stobi, from where its name originates, the Stobi winery cultivates vineyards on 13,000 hectares of land. The most famous wine is Vranec.

Founded in 2004, this modern winery with new approaches to winemaking combines tradition and technology to produce top quality wines. The Kamnik winery located on 17 hectares in the Vardar Valley in the Skopje wine region is where all the magic of creating world-class wines takes place.
