Few wineries in the region can boast what Tikvesh already lives – a wine brand that is equally present in Macedonia and France.
In the heart of Tikvesh – a region with a centuries-old wine tradition and a climate reminiscent of Tuscany and Bordeaux – lie the vineyards of Barovo, Lepovo, Bela Voda and Babuna. These terroirs, with their diverse soils, high temperatures and protection from northern winds, create ideal conditions for red and white varieties.

But Tikvesh goes a step further – with the Château de Gourdon estate in France, located in the Southern Rhône. There, the vineyards are exposed to all-day sun and protected from the mistral winds, creating wines with character and depth. The varieties grown there – Syrah, Viognier, Grenache, Carignan – are part of Tikvesh’s global vision: to create wine without borders, with Macedonian roots and French expression.
This international approach positions Tikvesh not only as a national symbol, but also as a global wine player, with products that combine tradition and the future, the country and the world.
