„KAM“ has opened the largest logistics center in the country
KAM has opened the largest logistics distribution center in the country. The facility built according to the highest construction and energy standards is located just a few kilometers from the center of Skopje.
The logistics-distribution complex extends over 60,000 square meters, with a warehouse space of 16,000 square meters and with a maximum storage capacity of 6,800 pallets of dry and 2,500 pallets of frozen products, including fruits, vegetables and fresh meat.
The modern architectural solution and the most modern technology applied in work processes significantly reduce the time required for storage and management of huge amounts of food and non-food products. The new work processes significantly reduce the duration of reception, storage and distribution of the products to the markets, continuously ensuring the necessary freshness.
Daily on-time delivery of fresh, safe and quality products to the consumers is a top priority for KAM. With the investment of 12 million euros in the new logistics distribution center in KAM, the necessary prerequisites for modern productive and efficient work processes were achieved, as well as economic efficiency in the operation as a condition for providing the most favorable offer for its consumers.
The application of high standards in the operation and the guarantee of the quality of the products is achieved through the constant quality assurance carried out by the expert team of the Quality Control department of KAM. The correct storage of the stored food products at different temperature regimes in a modern dedicated chambers for fruit, vegetables, meat, chocolate, dairy and deep-frozen products is continuously subject to strict checks and controls.

The application of the modern equipment for maneuvering, monitoring and management of quantities in the logistics center, not only that it contributes to high efficiency, but also significantly facilitates the work of the employees.
The satisfaction of the KAM employees is high on the list of the priorities. The new Logistics and Distribution Center offers modern conditions and a pleasant working atmosphere for more than 150 employees whose work the company values with the regular payment of incentive monthly incomes.
As a socially responsible company, with the new investment, KAM also raised the standards for active contribution to environmental protection. With the modern approach in the operation, it is possible to recycle more than 100 tons of waste per month, while through the optimized distribution, routes with a length of 5 million kilometers have been eliminated, which achieves a lower emission of CO2 by 900 tons per month.
