Although the financial results show a decrease in revenue compared to the previous year, the company remains one of the key players in the domestic oil and oil derivatives market, which is just another confirmation that the success of a company cannot be measured only through one business year.
It is clear that in a sector where revenues largely depend on movements in world crude oil prices, state regulatory policies, and market margins, financial indicators must be analyzed in a broader economic context.
According to data from the 200 LARGEST AND MOST SUCCESSFUL project, SUPERTRADE achieved total revenues of 11,486,814,786 denars in 2024, which is approximately 186.8 million euros. Profit before tax reached 45,318,429 denars , or approximately 737 thousand euros, while the company employed an average of 90 people.
With these results, SUPERTRADE ranked 13th among the largest companies in Macedonia .
In the printed edition of the 200 LARGEST AND MOST SUCCESSFUL edition, within its business , SUPERTRADE remains among the leading companies in retail.

When looking at the sector analysis of companies operating in the "Retail trade, except of motor vehicles and motorcycles" sector, it is clearly seen that SUPERTRADE is part of the group of largest companies in Macedonia.
In competition with companies such as Makpetrol, KAM and Kipper Market, SUPERTRADE is the fourth company in terms of revenue among the presented entities in this industry.
It leaves behind several well-known companies such as Stokomak, Lukoil Macedonia, Tinex, Kit-Go, Ramstore Macedonia, PZU Moja Apteka and other large retail systems.
This ranking shows that the company, despite the market challenges caused by geopolitical developments in the world , continues to be one of the most significant participants in domestic trade.
However, in a statement to club200 , SUPERTRADE emphasized that wholesale is the most important sector in their operations:
"Sales through gas stations under the Gulf brand represent a significant and growing segment, but wholesale continues to play a dominant role in overall operations. Retail is a strategically important segment with potential for further growth."
"The majority of clients are corporate entities and institutions, while the retail segment includes individuals as end consumers. Overall, the corporate segment has a dominant share," the company emphasizes.

Financial results show that revenues in 2024 are 13.60 percent lower compared to the previous year.
However, for companies trading in fuels, such changes cannot automatically be interpreted as a decrease in physical sales volume.
Revenues in this industry depend on several factors – world crude oil prices, movements in oil derivative prices, regulatory decisions, the level of trade margins, sales structure, and market competition.
This is also emphasized by the general manager and owner of Supertrade, Vladimir Stajic, who in a statement to club200 mentioned:
"The price of fuel on the local market is the result of several factors, the most significant of which are the global price of oil and derivatives, transportation costs, exchange rates, as well as tax and excise policy. In addition, the costs of storage, logistics and compliance with regulatory requirements also have an impact. All these elements make price formation a complex process, which is closely linked to global movements."
That is why financial indicators in this sector should always be analyzed in broader economic context, and not just through a comparison of nominal incomes.
Despite the decrease in revenue, the company continues to operate profitably, which shows that it manages to maintain stable operations even in changing market circumstances , and the company's forecasts are that the energy sector in Macedonia will continue to develop further:
"We expect the energy sector in Macedonia to continue to develop towards harmonization with European standards, modernization of infrastructure and strengthening market stability."
"Although traditional fuels will remain a significant segment, the gradual introduction of new technologies and improved efficiency throughout the supply chain is expected. Competition will increase, but this will contribute to improving the quality of services and greater transparency in the market," Stajić emphasizes.
One of SUPERTRADE's biggest competitive advantages is its long-standing partnership with Gulf Oil, one of the world's most recognizable brands in the oil industry.
The Gulf brand has more than a century of tradition and is present in dozens of countries around the world. In Macedonia, through SUPERTRADE, the company ensures the sale of fuels and other products under this internationally recognized brand.
Such a partnership brings not only a recognizable name, but also access to high quality standards, modern technologies, and international operating practices.
In conditions of strong competition in the domestic market, it is precisely such partnerships that represent an important competitive advantage.
"International partners play a key role in ensuring continuity and stability of supply. In the energy sector, reliable supply chains are the basis for successful operation, especially in conditions of market changes. In this context, cooperation with reputable companies ensures security, quality and predictability."
"Supertrade's partnership with Gulf Oil International represents a significant segment of this strategy, given the global recognition and high standards that the brand carries," Stajic notes.

One of the most interesting financial indicators in SUPERTRADE's operations is the ratio between the number of employees and the amount of revenue.
With an average of 90 employees, the company generated revenues of almost 11.5 billion denars, making it one of the companies with the highest turnover per employee in its industry.
This data should not be interpreted as a direct measure of individual productivity, as fuel trade naturally generates high financial turnover due to the value of the product.
However, he points out that the company operates with a compact organizational structure and efficient resource management.
According to information published on the official website, SUPERTRADE continuously invests in modernizing its sales network, improving services and developing its offer.
In addition to fuel sales, the company also develops additional services that increase the competitiveness of gas stations and improve the customer experience.
In modern conditions, gas stations have long ceased to be just places for refueling. They have become multifunctional sales locations that offer a wide range of products and services, which represents an important segment of modern retail operations.

The oil derivatives trade is one of the most competitive industries in Macedonia. A large number of companies compete for market share, while at the same time operating in conditions of high price sensitivity and strong influence of global economic movements.
In such conditions, maintaining a position among the largest companies in the country is a significant indicator of business stability.
The financial results for 2024 show that, despite the decline in revenues, SUPERTRADE remains an important player in the Macedonian fuel market. The company continues to rely on a recognizable international brand, many years of experience and presence in one of the most dynamic industries.
It is the combination of international partnership, stable market position, and ability to adapt to changing conditions that makes SUPERTRADE one of the companies that continues to play a significant role in the domestic economy.
