10 most successful companies in Macedonia, Slovenia and Croatia in 2022
We enrich the previous comparison of companies from Macedonia, Slovenia and Croatia according to total revenue, with a comparison of companies from these countries according to profit before tax.
The differences achieved by the largest companies in terms of total revenue were quite large, but in terms of pre-tax profit we notice even greater differences. So, for example, the 10 most successful companies from Slovenia made as much as 230.64% more profit before tax in 2022 compared to the 10 companies from Macedonia, while the difference in the first most successful company from the two countries is as much as 234.24%.
A slightly lower, but still more than twice the profit before taxation was achieved by the companies from Croatia, i.e. the 10 most successful Croatian companies, in 2022. Compared to Macedonia, Croatia has 161.09% more profit before tax, and the first most successful company from Croatia achieved 147.42% more profit than the first most successful company from Macedonia.
In terms of the activities represented by these 30 companies from the three countries, it cannot be said that any activity significantly prevails, however, production, supply and trade in electricity, trade in pharmaceutical products, telecommunications, production and processing of metals are some of them.
