AD Mermeren Kombinat Prilep operates with approximately 30% of the concession area of 2.19 km ².

The raw material from the mine is processed in the plants located in the city of Prilep, and the total area of the factory covers 65,000 m ².

In addition to the processing plants, the factory also has large storage warehouses, where all types of boards and tiles, polished and unpolished in various dimensions, as well as processed granulate, but also custom-made products are stored.

Half of Baghdad is built with Prilep marble

Although this claim is reduced to an urban legend, there is still official data, which proves that Prilep marble was used in a number of other world-famous buildings, such as the Cathedral of Christ the Savior in Moscow.

Prilep marble was also used for the reconstruction of Diocletian's Palace in Split, and in addition to being used for the construction of religious and reconstruction of monuments, white marble from Prilep is also part of a large number of new buildings around the world.
