Kavadarci will remain one of the most important industrial centers in North Macedonia in 2025, with a strong concentration of export-oriented companies from the metal industry, automotive sector, agribusiness, construction and energy. The analysis of the largest companies shows that the city is not developing only through production volume, but increasingly through structural changes in efficiency, profitability and industrial specialization.
Within the framework of the 200 LARGEST AND SUCCESSFUL project, Kavadarci stands out as a region with a strong industrial base and several companies that have a significant impact on the national economy.

The metallurgical and industrial sector remains the strongest economic pillar of Kavadarci, led by IGM-Trade DOO. The company has improved its position compared to the previous year, indicating a strengthening of competitiveness. Compared to 2024, when revenues and profits were already at a high level, 2025 sees further revenue growth of around 5 to 7 percent, while profits grow in double digits, over 10 percent.
This imbalance between moderate revenue growth and significantly higher profit growth indicates improved operational efficiency, cost optimization, and a better structure of export contracts.
The automotive industry in Kavadarci, represented by DMM Drexlmeyer Macedonia, remains one of the largest employers in the region. The company recorded high financial results in 2024, but in 2025 it is seeing a moderate decline in revenue and profit of around 5 to 7 percent.
Despite this correction, the company maintains a stable market position and remains a key industrial pillar, especially due to its role in global automotive supply chains. Employment remains high and stable, further confirming its importance to the local economy.
The wine industry, led by VV Tikvesh AD, is showing one of the most interesting transformations in 2025. Compared to 2024, when the company was already achieving stable results, 2025 brings moderate revenue growth, but a significant jump in profits of over 35 to 40 percent.
This imbalance indicates a clear shift in the business model, where the focus is shifting towards higher added value, premium market segments and better margins. Tikvesh is increasingly positioning itself as a brand with strong export recognition and high profit efficiency.

The construction and mining sector is led by Mashinokop Resources LLC, which records the highest growth dynamics in the entire analysis. Compared to 2024, the company almost doubles its revenues and profits in 2025, which represents one of the strongest individual industrial jumps in the city.
This growth is the result of increased activity in infrastructure projects, expansion of operational capacities and better utilization of resources, which positions the company as one of the most dynamic players in the region.
The agro-industrial sector, represented by Alliance One Macedonia, shows stable and continuous growth. Compared to 2024, the company recorded a moderate increase in revenue, while profitability remained stable without significant fluctuations.
This trend indicates a long-term sustainable business model that is less exposed to short-term market shocks and is based on stable demand for agro-commodities.
In the energy sector, Crna Reka Petrol DOOEL has seen a significant correction compared to 2024. Revenues have decreased by more than a third, while profits have also fallen by around 20 to 25 percent.
This change is likely a result of market movements and variations in fuel prices, but the company remains a stable player with a significant presence in the local market.

The analysis shows that the most important trend in 2025 is the fact that profitability is growing faster than revenues, indicating improved operational efficiency and cost optimization in most sectors. Additionally, the industry in Kavadarci shows a clear polarization, with metallurgy and construction recording the strongest growth, the automotive industry entering a stabilization phase, while energy remains the most volatile segment.
Employment remains highly concentrated in one large employer, while other companies operate with significantly smaller teams but higher productivity. At the same time, export orientation remains a key driver of economic growth in the entire region.
Kavadarci in 2025 retains its position as one of the strongest industrial centers in Macedonia, but with a clear change in the quality of growth. Instead of growth based solely on volume, growth based on efficiency, profitability, and structural transformation of the industry increasingly dominates.
This balance between stable industrial giants and fast-growing companies positions Kavadarci as one of the most dynamic and interesting economic regions in the country.
