Distribution of total revenue, profit before tax and number of employees for 2021 by city
Every year, around 300 companies from all over Macedonia make up the lists of 200 largest and 200 most successful companies.
Today we have prepared an analysis of all the companies ranked on the lists for 2021 and in the table below we show the summarized data by city. It can be noted, as expected in some way, that the companies in Skopje have achieved the highest income and profit before tax, as well as the highest number of employees.
Namely, the companies in Skopje have achieved total revenues of almost MKD 640 billion, profit before tax of almost MKD 44 billion and an average number of employees of 56,315 people. The following city is Kavadarci with high, but significantly lower amounts compared to the capital, and third on the list is Bitola.The last one is Pehcevo with the lowest income and with an average number of employees of only 35 people. Here it is significant to say that from Pehcevo we have only one company that is ranked among the 200 largest and most successful companies.
