How did 2020 end for the banking sector and the largest banks in our country? In the table below we present the data on capital and reserves and profit before income tax of banks for 2020.




We can see that despite the extraordinary and not very favorable conditions for economic operations, still 2020 was very favorable for this sector. As in previous years, there are no changes in which banks occupy the highest positions in the ranking list, while from the data given, we conclude that there is an increase in capital and reserves by 10.28% compared to 2019. From the aspect of the profit before tax, not so positive result, ie it is reduced by 8.58% compared to 2019.
