And what was the situation with the salary?

According to the SSO, the index of the average monthly gross salary paid per employee in December 2020 compared to December 2019 increased to 105.7.

This increase is due to the increase in the gross salary in the following sectors: Information and communications (14.9%), mining and quarrying (10.9%) and health and social protection activities (10.1%).

The average gross salary per employee in December 2020 was 42 227 denars.
