In the edition, you can find comparison tables for the largest and most successful companies for Croatia and Slovenia. The 50 best companies according to total revenue and profit before tax are presented, according to official data taken from the local services in these countries.

Croatia's economy is more developed than ours, so the better performance of the companies is expected, and it can be seen in the tabular display of the 50 largest companies by total revenue, which is shown in the continuation of the text.

The largest company is a company from the field of work with refined oil products, INA DD from Zagreb, which in 2022 has achieved a total income of EUR 4.7 billion. For comparison, this is almost double the revenue of the first-ranked company in Macedonia.

Second on the list is Prvo Plinarsko Drustvo, located in Vukovar, with a revenue of EUR 4.4 billion. This is a company for gaseous fuels distribution.

It is followed by a company from the field of electricity, Hrvatska Elektroprivreda, with an income of EUR 2.5 billion, followed then by MVM ENERGY with EUR 1.7 billion, and in 5th place is Konzum Plus, whose activity is retail trade in food and beverages, in non-specialized stores. This company made EUR 1.6 billion.

The total revenue realized by these 50 companies in 2022 is EUR 37.4 billion, and the lowest amount is EUR 251 million, which was realized by the electrical equipment manufacturing company Koncar Distributivni i Specijalni Transformeri from Zagreb.

The most represented activity within the framework of this analysis is Retail trade in non-specialized stores, mostly with food, beverages and tobacco products, in which 5 companies operate and have achieved a total income of EUR 3.2 billion.
