The largest exporters in 2022
From this year, the edition 200 LARGEST AND SUCCESSFUL also has the data on realized revenues from sales on foreign markets, which additionally captures the image of the Macedonian giants that work on foreign markets as well.
According to this data, we prepared the list of the 100 largest exporters for 2022, which we present at the end of this text.
As in most of the previous lists, in first place as the largest exporter for 2022 was Johnson Matthey, which has achieved almost all of its income, or even 99.02%, from sales abroad.
In second place was Okta AD, Skopje, which, for comparison, has achieved 10 times less revenue from sales on the foreign market than the first-ranked Johnson Matthey.
After Okta, another foreign investment, located in Bitola, is found on the list. Namely Kromberg and Schubert Macedonia Bt is the 3rd largest exporter. The fourth place is taken by Gen-i Prodazba na Energija DOOEL, and the fifth place belongs to Makstil AD.
What we can notice is that all of these companies are highly ranked on the list of the largest companies, that is, they are part of the first 20 companies according to total revenue, and some are also part of the list of the most successful according to profit before tax.
