How much profit have the markets made in the past five years?

The analysis includes eleven markets that in the past five years have taken place among the 200 largest and most successful companies according to the data of the edition 200 LARGEST AND SUCCESSFUL obtained from the Central Registry of Republic of North Macedonia. The list includes mostly Macedonian markets, to be more precise nine out of eleven, although every year the Greek investor VERO is taking the leading place, while KAM MARKET leads in the ranking of the largest markets. However, seven out of eleven markets each year are consistently taking place in both lists based on total revenue and profit before income tax. It is also interesting to mention the fact that almost half of the markets last year have made the biggest gross profit in the past five years, which means that despite the global financial crisis as a result of the pandemic, the citizens are spending a lot of money on food and groceries.
