Kromberg & Schubert is a global industrial group that entered the Macedonian market in 2012 and since then the impact of this company in reducing the unemployment rate is of great importance for the domestic economy.
The initial announcements of the company were that by the end of 2015, 3500 people will be employed. Although this figure was not met in the planned period, the number of employees by the end of 2019 reached almost twice as much as planned.
A few years ago, ie from 2018, Kromberg and Schubert took first place as the largest employers in Macedonia and successfully maintained their business, staying among the 10 largest companies.
Unfortunately, as a result of the KOVID-19 pandemic and the crisis it caused, the closures of factories and the cessation of production in 2020, the company was forced to temporarily reduce the number of employees by a certain percentage. However, despite this, Kromberg and Schubert remain by far the largest employer in our market with over 5500 employees.
