MERMEREN KOMBINAT AD Prilep has been on the list of 200 LARGEST and SUCCESSFUL since the first edition of the edition, more precisely since 2003.
The Company operates around 30% of the concession area of 2.19 km2, making it the largest white marble quarrying area worldwide.
For 2022 in Macedonia they managed to record the 146th place on the list of LARGEST and 19th place on the list of MOST SUCCESSFUL companies.
The main processing plant is situated in the city of Prilep, only 10 kilometers away from SIVEC® quarries. The factory's total area is 65.000 m2, including a large stone yard for the final products. Slabs and tiles, both polished and unpolished in all dimensions, as well as pebble mats, wall panels (bush-hammered) and custom-made products in CNC machines are only some of the products that can be produced in the plant.
Sivec® marble has been chosen to give the distinctive and exclusive white look to many large and well-known projects – incredible works of art, such as the magnificent Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi. As one of the last large and significant projects of the world scope in which the Sivec® of Mermeren Kombinat was implemented is the magnificent Vendome Mall in Qatar, where their marble covers an area of 80,000 m2.
