ICEMAK DOO is a company that has existed since 2004, and began its production in 2008, initially creating products, namely pyrotechnics for weather modification. Today, the company is a global leader in the production of non-lethal ammunition, or non-lethal weapons.

Thanks to innovation, perseverance, expansion of the business, but also the orientation towards meeting the needs of end consumers, today the company can boast of positive results, thanks to which it has established its position in the family of 200 LARGEST AND SUCCESSFUL .

ICEMAK DOO, one of the most successful companies in North Macedonia

ICEMAK DOO , Skopje, ended 2023 with total revenue of 506,897,139 denars and profit before tax of 123,066,091 denars.

Compared to the previous year, 2022, the company recorded a growth in pre-tax profit of 169.02%, and thanks to this, it rose to 177th place on the ranking of the most successful Macedonian companies.

Certificates of proven quality

Obtaining certificates nowadays is not only necessary for a company to survive, but such documents are also proof of the quality of the products that company offers.

Since its inception, ICEMAK DOO has acquired the necessary certificates to be able to offer its services, both in the domestic and global markets.

In 2008, when the company opened its first plant for the production of weather modification pyrotechnics, it immediately secured all necessary licenses from the government of the Republic of North Macedonia for uninterrupted production.

In 2010, the company expanded its operations and converted one of its plants to the production of non-lethal ammunition.

Today, the company produces several types of such products, which are approved by the Macedonian army and police.

Additionally, in 2012, the company received a license from the government of the Republic of North Macedonia to import, export, and broker all types of weapons and military equipment.

"The arms market today is very complex due to the large number of companies around the world engaged in production and trade."

For example, in many countries, if the weapons do not enter the country where the company conducting the trade is located, the transfer does not have to be reported.

This allows companies and individuals with little experience and knowledge to engage in this activity.

In contrast, in our country, every transfer of weapons and military equipment is strictly controlled by the state.

"Our company has all the necessary approvals to perform this activity from the Government of the Republic of North Macedonia, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Ministry of Economy and Labor, which provides our partners with the certainty that all transfers are carried out properly and in accordance with the regulations of the Republic of North Macedonia," explains the co-owner and CEO of ICEMAK DOO, Mr. Jordan Anchovski, in an interview with club200 .

Innovations and fast delivery for satisfied customers

In its 20 years of existence, ICEMAK DOO has achieved a number of key strategic partnerships with companies from the region, the EU, the USA, as well as the Middle East.

In addition to carrying out commodity exchange, i.e. import and export of conventional weapons, ammunition, military and dual-use equipment, the company can boast that today it produces over 70 different products, which are approved by the Macedonian army and police, and are used by UN peacekeeping forces, as well as a large number of other armed and police forces around the world.

ICEMAK's activities include the design, production and delivery of non-lethal ammunition for police and military forces globally.

As the company's CEO, Mr. Anchovski, notes, when it comes to innovation, it is important to emphasize that ICEMAK DOO has its own team that can easily modify existing products according to customer requirements, as well as develop new specific products, at the request of end consumers.

As he emphasizes, the company's main focus is currently on the main requirements of customers, which is ensuring quality and fast delivery.

"In terms of quality, in addition to strict incoming control of raw materials, our company cooperates with the Ministry of Defense and private shooting ranges."

This collaboration allows us to regularly test our products and continuously monitor daily production.

As for production capacities, in the past period we have invested significant funds in the automation of three key production processes.

"With this, we not only achieved better and more consistent quality, but also tripled our daily production capacity," he emphasizes.

Hence, it becomes clear that ICEMAK has a clear vision for the growth and development of the company.

The plans are to automate around 80-90% of the production process in the future, and there are also plans to install production monitoring software, which will enable optimal utilization of the company's capacities and labor.
