As we can see from the data for 2021, we see slight change at the top of the largest employers. Namely, in the first position for 2021 with the highest average number of employees is the company which is also a foreign direct investment - DMM DRAEXLMAIER MANUFACTURING MAKEDONIJA DOOEL, based in Kavadarci. Kromberg & Schubert Macedonia Bt DOOEL, Bitola, who managed to take the first place last year, this year notices a slight decrease in employees, which is still due, as we already know, to the existing economic crisis started by the COVID-19 pandemic. Regardless, however, they are on top again, this time in 2nd position, which is also a significant success.

Next comes AD ESM, Skopje, which same as last year it is again in the 3rd position, then AMPHENOL TECHNOLOGY MAKEDONIJA DOOEL from Kočani, also a foreign direct investment which, together with the others, has significantly managed to reduce unemployment in North Macedonia in the last few years. And as the 5th ranked on the list of the largest employers is AD Posta na Severna Makedonija, Skopje, which managed to increase the average number of employees from 2010 to 2185 in the past year.
