The ларгест export activities in Macedonia
One of the newest data available in the 20th jubilee edition of the 200 LARGEST AND SUCCESSFUL is the data on the 100 largest exporters ranked according to sales revenue in foreign markets.
In the analysis below, we present the 10 largest export activities as well as which activity is the most represented among these 100 companies.
As can be seen from the table, the largest revenues from the export of products have been achieved by companies engaged in the Manufacture of other parts and additional accessories for motor vehicles. Exports within this industry, in the amount of MKD 153.9 billion, occupy 39% of the total revenues achieved by the 100 largest exporters, which amounted to MKD 394.2 billion. Although the number of companies is not much and it is about incomes made by only 3 companies from this activity, the participation is still significantly high.
The second activity with the largest export is Trade of electricity with a total of MKD 42.3 billion exported or 11% of total revenues. Here we are already talking about several companies that are part of the activity, more precisely 8. A significantly smaller percentage, 4%, was exported by the companies for Production of electrical and electronic equipment for motor vehicles and for Wholesale of solid, liquid and gaseous fuels and related products. The revenues within these activities are MKD 17.5 billion and MKD 16.2 billion, respectively.
If we look at the second table, which refers to which activity was the most represented in the total exports of the largest exporters, the situation changes. The most represented activity is Trade of electricity with 8 companies within its framework. This is followed by the Trade with cars and motor vehicles lightweight with 5 companies and MKD 6.8 billion in the total revenues of the 100 largest exporters. With the same number of companies, but a slightly lower amount of income, the third activity is Computer programming, followed by Production of finished textile products except clothing. This includes 4 companies with total revenues of MKD 4.9 billion.
The fifth activity on this list, with only 3 companies, is actually the first on the previous list and is for the Manufacture of other parts and additional accessories for motor vehicles. You can see the full breakdown of the tables attached, while other data can be found here.
