Van Hool produces an average of 1,400 buses and trailers and about 4,000 other commercial vehicles annually, of which 80% are exported worldwide. With a workforce of over 4,000 employees in Belgium and Macedonia, Van Hool is one of the largest bus manufacturers in Europe offering a complete range of public transport buses for the international market.

The purpose of Van Hool Macedonia is the production of vehicles for transporting people.

In July 2012, a foundation stone was laid that marked the beginning of the construction of the Van Hool Macedonia factory in the Technological Industrial Development Zone Skopje2 in Bunardzik. The first production bus left the factory on October 15, 2013, bringing Van Hool back to the tradition of the country's bus industry.

They have been on the list of 200 Largest and Most Successful Companies in Macedonia since 2013. For 2022, they managed to record the 33rd place ranked according to total income and the 62nd place ranked according to total profit before taxation.

We see an impressive growth in their total revenue of as much as 327% compared to 2021. The profit before taxation, on the other hand, records an even more impressive growth, from an extraordinary 2842%, that is, from 8,789,637 denars in 2021 to MKD 258,631,054 denars in 2022. Part of that is certainly due to the crisis caused by corona, which was quite influential in 2021.

Also, Van Hool is constantly opening new job positions, thereby helping to reduce unemployment in the country. In 2022, the average number of employees in the company was 862 people.
