IGM Trade - an export-oriented company with 95% of the total production sold outside Macedonia

Since its establishment as a trading company in 1994, IGM-Trade has rapidly developed as a greenfield investment and become one of the largest producers of welded steel pipes and profiles in South-Eastern Europe.

Today they have over 450 employees working in their premises in Kavadarci on an area of 400,000 m2 with a covered area of 280,000 m2. Their production facilities have a combined annual capacity of 200,000 tons per year. They continuously invest in new technology in order to maintain their position as a market leader.

IGM-Trade is an export-oriented company with 95% of the total production sold outside Macedonia, on the EU and CEFTA markets. Their highly motivated and experienced sales team is trained to work closely with the production department to ensure fast production, prompt delivery and a high degree of customer satisfaction.

Their secondary activity includes the processing of steel coils into sheets and strips with plans to further develop the capabilities of their in-house service center.

As part of their investment strategy, they now operate a production capacity for steel structures and a construction company that are intensively used in the construction of new IGM projects.

At the end of 2015, IGM-Trade expanded its operations outside of Macedonia by purchasing the former ALPOS, a factory for welded steel pipes and profiles located in Šenjur, Slovenia. This investment offers many technological, logistical and marketing benefits and allows the company to increase its presence in EU markets and better serve its customer base in Western Europe. Production started in 2017 with a capacity of 100,000 tons per year.

Their success does not go unnoticed - they are regular participants in the 200 Most Successful Companies. You can see them HERE.
