Тotal revenue of the largest companies in the period 2018-2022

The total revenue achieved in a year is the main indicator according to which we determine and rank the largest companies.

The 200 LARGEST AND SUCCESSFUL edition marked its 20th jubilee edition this year, in which, as in previous years, the largest and most successful companies are presented according to the respective indicators.

If we look at the revenue of the companies, i.e. the total revenue achieved by the 200 largest companies that were part of the past editions, we get an interesting insight into which direction our economy is moving, whether we have an increase or a decrease in the overall operation of the companies.

In the continuation of the text, we share a graphical representation of how the total income has moved in the last 5 years from 2018 to 2022. Mostly, we see an increasing trend, despite the fact that in 2020 there is a slight decrease of 5.82% compared to 2019. In the following two years, the total realized income grows, by 21.11% in 2021 and 38.75% in 2022, when the income amounted to MKD 1.137 billion.

As it is already well known, the largest company in all these years is Johnson Matthey, a foreign investment part of the automotive industry that opened its production facilities in Bunardzik, Skopje. In 2022, the total revenue of Johnson Matthey occupies 13.4% of the total realized revenue of the 200 largest companies.
