Who were the 10 largest employers in 2022

It seems that the domestic and foreign direct investments are equally present this year among the 10 companies that employ the most people. As we can see from the tabular display below throughout the text, the first company with the largest number of employees is the foreign Kromberg and Schubert Macedonia Bt DOOEL, which had an average number of employees of as many as 6,270 people last year.

It is followed by DMM Draexlmeier Manufacturing, which is also one of the foreign direct investments, with a number of employees of 6213 people.

Third on the list, and the first domestic company that counts as one of the largest employers is AD ESM, Skopje, where 4258 people worked in 2022. ESM is also the most successful company among the 10 largest employers, ranked 4th by profit before tax in 2022.

Back to the foreign companies, ie Amfenol Technology from Kočani is the 4th on the list with 2535 employees. The next company, Genterm North Macedonia, had an approximate number of employees with 2322 people.

Next follows Alkaloid AD with 1965 employees, the Public Enterprise Nacionalni Sumi with 1921 employees, and the 8th place on the list is taken by Makpetrol AD with 1914 employees, which is also the largest company in this analysis, ranked as 4th according to total revenue in 2022.

Nikob DOO from Skopje, which deals with protection services with the help of security systems and which employs 1827 people, was also on the list.

Finally, the last company is Adient Seating from Stip with 1676 employees whose activity is production of textile products for motor vehicles.
